After a 14-month hiatus, a brand new development team, a project forked then unforked, and literally hundreds of revisions… a new (beta) version of HandBrake is available! Windows XP to be phased out by year's end despite customer demand

Computer makers have been told they'll no longer be able to get Windows XP OEM by the end of this year, despite strong ongoing demand for the OS. Analysts and computer makers are wondering if the move is premature given Vista's ongoing issues -- Dell has even reintroduced XP on a range of machines due to customer resistance to Vista.

I'm going back to WinXP and waiting for Vista SP1 to come out before I try using it 24/7 again.
Vista doesn't seem to want me to go because now it's popping up a new error message about winload missing due to the new bootloader Vista uses!
