Apparently doing WPF using VirtualBox when 3D acceleration is enabled in the virtual machine is a no go :(
Found out the hard way by trying to run VS2010 inside Windows XP in VirtualBox in Mac OS X.
The program launches but all you get is a grayish-white background and the program is effectively frozen!

Eat a lot less, live a lot longer
Not gonna happen :(
As the author of the article mentioned himself humans won't do much on their own unless they are forced to.
"But we all should try to eat less, because science has indicated that we would live healthier longer, if we were to only consume less calories."
I'll just say as the wise Yoda once said there is no try just do.

..On Lisp's Readability and Parenthesis Stacking
Why can't they just use whitespace like Logo or Python?
I guess then they'd be complaining that the lack of parentheses is confusing LOL!
The readability of your source code should not depend on the editor used to view it.
Lisp code can be just as readable as C, Ruby, and Python. The only thing stopping it is a community adopted convention, and I find that both sad and disappointing. Lisp is a beautiful language, so why make the structure of its code unreadable?

Erasing all digital footprints 'impossible'
Not really that hard if you don't use a computer except when necessary or are locked up like Charles Manson, although I hear he got into trouble for his website a while back LOL?
But what would it take for an individual to erase his digital footprint? Is it even possible to exit the Internet?
